Fort Langley Feature Home - Custom Home Design

This is a very special project for me. Located on a 4,500 sq. ft. corner lot in Fort Langley, this custom home presented a unique design challenge from the very beginning.

With a tight building envelope, we needed to carefully accommodate the home, garage, driveway, site services, private access to the secondary suite, and usable outdoor yard space — all on a relatively compact property. It was not an easy task, and every square foot of the site had to be considered.

Working alongside Monument Developments and Atelier Noir Interiors, we were able to turn those constraints into a home that feels anything but constrained. The finished home includes 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, an office, recreation room, flex room, secondary suite, and one of my favourite little details — a dedicated reading desk tucked into the upper floor.

The result was a home that not only came together beautifully, but also connected immediately with the market. Listed by The Pontaletta Group, the home sold after just one day on the market, an especially rewarding result in a challenging real estate market.

Projects like this are a great example of why I enjoy designing homes in Fort Langley. A difficult lot doesn't necessarily mean compromising the home — it means the planning has to work that much harder.
